DIRECTIONS
Luba Awanceruni Traveller's Lodge is located in Barrio Nevagó, less than 10 minutes by taxi from the municipal dock. When you arrive from Puerto Barrios or Rio Dulce, ask the taxi driver to take you to "Luba Awanceruni en barrio Nevagó." The cost of the ride is 10 quetzales per person.
You can also walk to the Traveller's Lodge in approximately 30 minutes. Simply head uphill from the municipal dock and turn left when you reach the school. Continue along this street for about 20 minutes. Once you pass the cemetery, you will soon see the Lodge on your left. It is a two-storey building: the top floor is made of wood, the first is painted blue. You can't miss it!
Although the Lodge does not have a telephone, there is always someone on hand to check you in.
